Shea butter is extracted from the kernel contained in the nut of the fruit of the shea tree. Its 300-year lifespan has earned it the nickname "tree of life".
Thanks to its immense richness in ceramides and vitamins, it accompanies the beauty rituals of African women. Queen Nefertiti owed her legendary beauty to the repairing virtues of this butter, to which she added Egyptian black cumin oil.
Refined, this shea butter is deodorised and whitened. It intensely moisturises the skin, regenerates it and protects it from external aggressions. It also brings softness and shine to the hair.
It is recommended for dry to very dry and dehydrated skin.
As it is fairly firm, it should be warmed in the palm of the hand to soften it before applying.
